Stetson Engineers completed a Water Audit for the City of Angels Camp in Calaveras County, California. Located in the Sierra Nevada foothills, Angels Camp has an independent water system that relies upon deliveries from the Stanislaus River. The City has a two million-gallon-per-day filter plant and five pressures zones. The City sought Stetson’s help to assess water system compliance with state laws and industry best practices.
Stetson reviewed the City’s water facilities and infrastructure for system reliability, security, and capacity. Stetson prepared a list of prioritized projects for a Capital Improvement Program (CIP), including costs and a proposed implementation schedule. At the completion of the project, Stetson presented the Water Audit at a workshop with the City Council and general public.
A copy of the final audit report is available on the City’s website.
